This is my second album, Actress. It's been in the works since mid-2015, undergone several re-writes, suffered through my bouts of writers block and procrastination, with a few 'back to the drawing board's thrown in. But it's done now, and I'm very proud to share it with you all.

Over the last few years I've been coming to terms with my gender identity, and recently came out about being trans non-binary. This album details my struggles with dysphoria and anxiety over the last few years. I started writing songs for this album in mid-2015, and the last tracks were finished off a few weeks ago. It was recorded mostly in Kerikeri in the Far North (where I was living at the time) with a couple of tracks finished off in Paekakariki.

I really hope you enjoy this album, and please share with anyone you think might also like it. It's been a weird few years but I'm proud of how far I've come, and I'm excited to share this album with everyone.
